    Business name: Wanderworks

    Introduction

Welcome to Wanderworks. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect personal information from visitors to our website and customers of our services. We are committed to maintaining your trust by protecting your personal information.

    Information We Collect

We collect information that you provide directly to us when you interact with our website or use our services. This includes contact information such as your name, email address, and phone number, as well as inquiry details submitted through our forms. Additionally, we may automatically collect technical data, including your IP address, browser type, and cookies, as well as account information if you create an account with us.

    How We Use Your Information

The information we collect is used to respond to your inquiries and quote requests, provide our services, and communicate with you effectively. This includes sending appointment confirmations and service-related updates. We may also send marketing messages, but only with your explicit opt-in consent. Furthermore, we use this information to improve our website and ensure compliance with our legal obligations.

    SMS / Text Messaging Privacy

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

When Wanderworks Acts as a Service Provider

In some cases, Wanderworks processes personal information (such as phone numbers, names, and contact details) that we receive from our business clients ("Clients") in order to provide messaging services on their behalf. In these cases:

    • Wanderworks acts as a service provider (under the California Consumer Privacy Act) or data processor (under similar frameworks). The Client is the business or data controller.
    • The Client is responsible for obtaining consent from each individual whose personal information they provide to us, including consent to receive SMS or email communications.
    • Wanderworks uses Client-provided personal information solely to perform the services contracted by the Client. We do not sell, share, or use it for our own marketing purposes.
    • If you received a message from a business sent by Wanderworks on their behalf and you wish to opt out, you can:
      1. Reply STOP to the message — this will immediately and permanently unsubscribe you from that specific Client's messages.
      2. Contact us at privacy@wanderworks.ai to request deletion of your contact information from any Client's list. We will forward your request to the Client within 5 business days.
    • Wanderworks does not retain Client-provided contact lists beyond what is necessary to perform the contracted service. We delete lists upon termination of the service agreement with the Client, unless retention is required by law.
    • For consent verification, opt-out documentation, or questions about how a specific business collected your phone number, please contact the business directly. Wanderworks does not maintain consent records on behalf of Clients; the Client is the records custodian.

    How We Share Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We only share information with trusted service providers—such as hosting providers, CRM platforms, and payment processors—who assist us in operating our business. These providers are bound by strict confidentiality agreements. We may also disclose information if required to do so by law.

    Cookies and Tracking

Our website uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance your browsing experience and analyze site traffic. Cookies are small data files stored on your device. You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings, though doing so may affect the functionality of certain parts of our website.

    Data Security

We implement reasonable safeguards, including encryption in transit and access controls, to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction. However, please be aware that no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

    Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, as well as the right to opt out of receiving marketing communications. If you are a resident of California, you are afforded specific rights under the CCPA/CPRA. If you are a resident of the European Union, you have rights under the GDPR. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the information provided below.

    Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 13 (or 16 in the EU). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.

    Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
